Hi everyone.

I’d like to quickly cover cush rubbers & sprockets .

With all of the stopping & starting Australia Post bikes do it is phenomenal.

It is no wonder this wears out the chain & sprockets & of course your cush rubbers.

You can check your cush rubbers by simply putting the back wheel on the ground to stop it moving and try to move the back sprocket forward and back

If there is movement & the back sprocket moves even slightly, then it is time to change your cush rubbers.

To be honest, it simply is more economical to replace your cush rubbers when you replace your chain & sprockets.

We have a great heavy duty chain & oversize sprocket kit in the shop & we also sell the cush rubbers as well, from models 1999 on !!

If you want the standard “15 Tooth” front sprocket with the kit that Australia Post use then just let us know at checkout.

We have found that most customers love the extra top end speed that you get with the 16 tooth sprocket without losing any bottom end power , it really is the perfect chain & sprocket kit.

I can honestly say that 95% of the bikes we get directly from Australia Post have completely perished cush rubbers.

Xmas is coming in the next couple of months , we would like to thank all of our customers for all of the support and wish everyone a great 2015.

CHAIN & SPROCKET KITS SHOULD BE FITTED BY A QUALIFIED MECHANIC
